What stays in place. Checked on every file.
- Text that grows in translation is fitted to its text box instead of overflowing.
- Speaker notes and chart labels are translated with the slides.
- Product names in your glossary stay as written on every slide.
- Slide masters and layouts are kept, so slides you add later still match the deck.
- Hidden slides are translated too, so nothing is left in the original language when you show them.
- SmartArt keeps its shape and colors; only the words inside each box change.

Questions. Short answers.
Are charts and diagrams translated?
Labels in native PowerPoint charts and SmartArt are translated. Text inside pictures stays as it is.
How much does it cost to translate a presentation?
A 30-slide deck has about 3,000 words, which falls under the minimum: $3 in Read mode or $9 in Publish mode.
What if the translation is longer than the original?
Text is fitted to its box: font size and line breaks are adjusted slightly so nothing spills off the slide.
Can I translate a Keynote or Google Slides deck?
Export it as PPTX first. Both Keynote and Google Slides save in PowerPoint format, and the translation comes back as PPTX.
Do animations still play in the right order?
Yes. Objects keep their IDs, so animations and transitions are attached to the same text boxes and run in the same order.
More language pairs. Same file, other languages.
Every format you work with. Layout kept in each one.
Translating PowerPoint decks that still fit on the slide
Text that grows in translation
Slides are built from boxes of fixed size. A headline that fits in English can run past the edge in German or French. Transleaf fits translated text to its box by adjusting font size and line breaks slightly, much as PowerPoint’s own autofit does, instead of letting it spill over the design.
Check the busiest slides in the preview. The first three slides are free, and the title slide and agenda are usually dense enough to show whether text fits.

Speaker notes, charts and SmartArt
Speaker notes are translated with the slides, so the presenter has the script in the audience’s language. Labels in native PowerPoint charts and the text in SmartArt shapes are translated too. Text inside pasted pictures is not, because it is part of the image.
Masters and layouts
Slide masters and layouts are kept. Slides you add to the translated deck later pick up the same fonts, colors and placeholders, so the deck does not split into two designs.
Animations and hidden slides
Animations stay attached to the same objects and play in the same order. Hidden slides are translated as well, so a backup slide you pull up during questions is not suddenly in the original language.
Tables and callouts
Tables on slides keep their rows, columns and cell formatting, and numbers in them are converted to the target format. Text boxes keep their position and size, so a callout that points at a chart still points at the same bar. Chart titles, axis labels and legends are translated inside the chart itself, so the chart stays editable in PowerPoint.
Before you upload a deck
A few minutes of preparation pay off:
- Delete slides you do not need, so you do not pay for them
- Replace text baked into images with real text if it needs translating
- Embed fonts or use common ones, so the translated deck looks the same on another computer
- Keep the file under 300 MB
Keynote and Google Slides
Export the deck as PPTX first. Both apps save in PowerPoint format, and the translation comes back as PPTX, which opens in either of them again.
Price of a deck
Most decks are short. A 30-slide presentation of about 3,000 words falls under the minimum: $3 in Read mode or $9 in Publish mode. A product name you want unchanged on every slide goes in the glossary as Keep.
