Names are decided once, in book one. Every later book and language starts from them.

  1. Step 2 · Names and style

    Pick the series glossary

Matching names in the new book switch to the series choice before anything is translated.

Example: the glossary picker on the Names and style step with Harbour series applied.
  2. Step 3 · Preview

    See which names are fixed

Series names are marked in the free chapter, so nobody changes them by accident.

Example: a paragraph of the free chapter with series names marked.
  3. Step 5 · Download

    New names go back in

When a book is ready, save the names it introduced for the next volume.

Example: three new names from book three saved to the series glossary.

Questions from publishers

What if we need more than 5 seats?

Write to us with the form below. Freelance translators and editors can join as members and use the same glossaries.

Is the word allowance shared by the team?

Yes. 800,000 words a month for the whole team, whoever starts the order. Unused words reset on the renewal date.

Do we need a glossary for each language?

Yes. Each glossary covers one language pair, such as English to German. For a series in three languages, keep one glossary per language.

We already translated book one. Can we keep its names?

Yes. Open the finished order and choose Save names to a shared glossary. The next book in the same languages can apply it on the Names and style step.

Do we need translation rights?

Yes, for any book you publish in translation. For your own titles that’s you; for licensed titles, check the contract with the rights holder. Amazon KDP, Apple Books and Kobo also ask whether AI was used.

What happens to our files?

They are never used to train AI and are deleted 30 days after upload. On Business we sign a data processing agreement; ask for it with the form below.
